Some furniture only gets better with age. Eye Designs of Westchester still uses Italian leather Cassina chairs that are now more than 20 years old. Co-owner Harris Decker even consulted leather restoration experts about refinishing them, only to be told to leave them alone. “Leather like that shouldn’t be messed with,” they advised. And Decker agrees: “They’re over 20 years old at this point and are aging like fine wine.”
